The annual Carnival of Chemistry at the University of Kansas has received four ChemLuminary Awards from the national American Chemical Society:

  • Best Open House (1994 and 1996)
  • Best Chemical Demonstration Show for the Wizard of Oz show (1998)
  • Most Creative Event for the Spectrapult (1999)
 

The Carnival of Chemistry is sponsored by the KU Department of Chemistry and the KU Section of the American Chemical Society
